Job summary

Stellantisfinancialservices seeks an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a team developing basic software components for EE/core and powertrain control modules. You will analyze requirements, design, code, and test, creating software design documents and test plans for DEM/DCM modules.

The role requires hands-on C/C++ experience, familiarity with AUTOSAR basics, and testing across white/black/gray box methods. Knowledge of Vector CANoe/CANAnalyzer and Lauterbach debuggers is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years' experience with embedded C/C++ software (hand-coding)
Experience in programming/scripting languages and adhering to a defined software development process.
Experience in Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration of DEM/DCM modules
Experience in software verification/validation including white box, black box and gray box testing
Experience using data acquisition tools
Familiarity with ASPICE and ISO 26262 process frameworks
Experience with Vector CANoe/CANAnalyzer
Experience with NXP Cobra-55 and Aurix TC family microprocessors
Experience using Lauterbach debuggers

Responsibilities

Develop basic software components for EE/core and powertrain control modules.
Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding, test plan creation and testing.
Create software design documents and C/C++/assembly code; develop test plans.
Engage in reviews/inspections with cross-functional teams including controls and calibration engineers.
Work with virtualization methods in base software development lifecycle.
Interact with vendors and other departments to elicit software requirements.
