Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and deploying production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Azure/Microsoft cloud services.
• Experience with Databricks, including data engineering, notebooks, and/or ML workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages used for data and AI applications.
• Experience building agentic workflows and applications with generative AI and LLM-based approaches to solve business problems.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and build solutions from scratch.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across R&D, clinical, manufacturing, and other functions to identify AI-driven opportunities.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI workflows and applications end-to-end.
• Establish foundational engineering practices and reusable patterns for AI delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Platform and DevOps engineers to access data and deploy pipelines.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for AI applications across AWS/ Databricks within MS environments.
• Leverage Databricks and AWS services to orchestrate AI workflows and leverage existing foundation models.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft/Azure tools where needed.
• Prototype quickly, gather feedback, and move validated solutions to production.
• Document architecture and patterns to create an internal playbook.
