Job summary

You will define how AI tooling is scoped and built, work hands‑on across platforms, and embed with teams to ensure solutions fit real workflows while building reusable patterns and governance for production use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services and Azure/Microsoft cloud services.
• Experience with Databricks notebooks and ML workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python or SQL for building data/AI apps.
• Experience building agentic AI workflows and LLM-based approaches for practical problems.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and build solutions from scratch.
• Strong cross-functional communication, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across R&D, clinical, manufacturing, and other business functions to identify opportunities for AI-driven internal solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI workflows and applications end-to-end from prototype to production.
• Establish engineering practices and reusable patterns for AI delivery in a green-field function.
• Collaborate with Data Platform and DevOps teams to access, model, and productionize data for AI solutions.
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines and monitoring for AI apps across AWS/DataBricks/Microsoft environments.
• Leverage Databricks and AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, S3) to orchestrate AI workflows using existing models.
• Integrate solutions with Azure/M365 tools where appropriate to meet business needs.
• Prototype proofs-of-concept, gather feedback, and iterate toward production-ready solutions.
• Document architecture and delivery patterns to build a repeatable playbook for future work.
