Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients and deliver production-ready AI solutions. You will own problems end-to-end—from discovery to deployment and measurable business outcomes—across AI models, data, and enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• Senior-level software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, LLM app development, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Daily use of AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong backend skills in Python, Java, or Node.js, and frontend skills (React/TypeScript).
• Experience with at least one cloud: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; containers and Kubernetes; IaC (Terraform/Bicep); CI/CD; observability.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to identify high-value problems and own them end-to-end.
• Design end-to-end architectures covering models, data, integrations, and security.
• Build, test, and deploy production-grade AI applications on client platforms.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Document technical decisions and enable client teams to operate solutions.
