Job summary

Mars Men invites an Email/SMS Designer to own how every message looks, designing campaigns and lifecycle flows for Klaviyo and SMS for Postscript. You’ll craft mobile-first layouts that drive revenue and sit at the center of a weekly calendar.

You’ll build and evolve a modular email design system, collaborate with Brand and Performance Creative to stay on brand, and hand off production-ready specs for multiple clients across Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years designing email for a DTC or ecommerce brand.
• Proficiency in Figma including components and design systems.
• Fluency in mobile-first direct response layout with clear hierarchy and CTAs.
• Working knowledge of email rendering across Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, plus dark mode and accessibility basics.
• Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo or comparable ESP for designing within editor constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design email campaigns and lifecycle flows for a weekly cadence.
• Translate copy into mobile-first layouts with strong hierarchy and CTAs.
• Build and evolve the Mars Men email design system with modular blocks and templates.
• Design SMS/MMS creative for Postscript consistent with emails.
• Design A/B variants and integrate winners back into the design system.
• Hand off specs to the implementer and ensure production-ready rendering across major clients.
