Job summary

Mars Men is seeking an Email/SMS Designer to own how every message looks, from campaigns to lifecycle flows for a weekly cadence. You’ll design in Figma, build modular email templates, and craft SMS/MMS creative that remains on-brand.

You’ll collaborate with a retention copywriter and an implementer in a fast-growing, remote team. Experience designing email for DTC brands, expertise in Figma and Klaviyo, and a strong sense of mobile-first layouts are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years designing email for a DTC or ecommerce brand.
• Expert proficiency in Figma with components, auto layout and design systems.
• Fluency in mobile-first direct response layout with strong hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook—including dark mode & accessibility.
• Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo or a comparable ESP for design-to-build.
• Strong organization to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design email campaigns and lifecycle flows for a weekly cadence.
• Translate copy into mobile-first layouts with clear CTAs.
• Build and evolve the Mars Men email design system and templates.
• Design SMS/MMS creative for Postscript aligned with emails.
• Create A/B variants and fold winners back into the system.
• Hand off specs to the implementer and sign off on final builds.
