Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Cybersecurity Ops Technologist I to own day-to-day administration of our Proofpoint email security stack within a large enterprise. The role emphasizes threat prevention, authentication, and mail flow across a hybrid M365/on-premises Exchange environment.

You will design policies, tune DKIM/SPF/DMARC, and collaborate with the SOC to build automated response playbooks for phishing, BEC, and malware campaigns. A strong background in email security is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated email security engineering experience.
• Hands-on administration of Proofpoint in a large enterprise.
• Experience configuring secure email gateway policies and quarantine workflows.
• Deep knowledge of DKIM, SPF, and DMARC; able to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Proofpoint deployment, including TAP/TRAP and mail flow controls.
• Design and maintain mail flow policies and quarantine management for thousands of mailboxes.
• Own DKIM, SPF, DMARC strategy end-to-end across multiple domains.
• Manage mail relay configurations for Microsoft 365 and on-premises Exchange.
• Analyze threat intel and TAP telemetry to tune detections and responses.
• Collaborate with SOC to build automated email threat playbooks.
• Communicate trends and platform health to security leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
