About the Role

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the execution of high-performing email marketing campaigns. This role is focused on deploying emails, building and optimizing lifecycle flows, managing trigger-based communications, and maintaining clean, well-segmented audience lists. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in email marketing platforms, and understands how to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy email campaigns and automations using our email marketing platforms - Mailchimp and Hubspot
• Set up and manage lifecycle flows and triggered emails to drive engagement, retention, and conversion
• Maintain and segment email lists based on engagement, behavior, and demographics
• Ensure deliverability best practices and CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance
• Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across email campaigns
• QA all campaigns across devices and inboxes to ensure proper rendering and functionality
• Monitor campaign performance and flag issues or opportunities for optimization
• Maintain documentation of email flows, audience logic, and performance benchmarks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing
• Hands-on experience with email deployment tools and marketing automation platforms
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation and targeting strategies
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
• Familiarity with analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Time Commitment & Compensation

• Part-time role: ~20 hours per week, with flexibility to scale hours up or down based on project needs.
• Remote position: Our team is primarily based in New York City; candidates in the NYC area are a plus but not required.
• Compensation: $50 per hour. We’re open to adjusting the rate for candidates with exceptional experience or specialized skills.
