About the Role:

We are looking for a results-driven email marketer to help grow our businesses through our email marketing channels. As the Email Marketing Program Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and reporting on the performance of our emails, as well as building systems and processes to enable us to continuously scale our efforts. Email marketing is extremely important for our company’s success, so you will play a crucial role in helping INE achieve our goals and drive growth for our businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing email strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences to reach individual and business subscriber acquisition goals
  • Building and executing email campaigns from HTML coding to QA and deployment
  • Designing and building email templates for various outreach purposes (general marketing, promotional, operational, transactional, and other emails)
  • Planning, building, and maintaining target email lists within our contact database
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders on email project requirements, delivery of assets, and production timelines
  • Leveraging platforms and other analytics tools to build reporting, monitor performance, and take action to improve email KPIs
  • Create, maintain, and optimize the email content deployment calendar working cross-functionally to align with business revenue goals and integrated campaign strategy
  • Collaborating with teams across the organization to plan, request, and implement updates to email databases for improved functionality and expansion of our email marketing capabilities
  • Devising and implementing testing strategies to identify what positively/negatively impacts user engagement and optimizing strategies based on what is learned (subject line verbiage, CTA placement, etc.)

Critical Skills Sought:

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks associated with overlapping campaigns and projects
  • Working knowledge of technical requirements, industry standards, and current best practices for email performance management
  • Strong understanding of the relationships between email performance KPIs and how they contribute to overall user engagement and ROI
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Key Requirements of this Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, or other related business field
  • Located within or able to work within Central Standard (CST) or Eastern Standard Time (EST) zones
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns, user journeys, and triggered emails in HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation platform
  • Demonstrated hands-on HTML and graphic design experience
  • Experience creating and maintaining target email lists and collaborating with database administrators on dynamic list development, segmentation, cleansing, maintenance, and the processing of subscribes/unsubscribes
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, compliance, and regulations
  • Familiarity with project management platforms to manage workloads - we’re currently using Monday
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with a high volume of email output
  • Experience in the IT training industry or subscription-based product marketing a plus
  • HubSpot experience and/or certification a plus
