Position Summary: The primary role of this individual is to perform functions related to compliance and operations of Duke University Health System's (DUHS) 340B drug pricing program. Additional roles include performing internal program audits, information technology coordination, vendor account setup and maintenance, and pharmacy team member training. This position will primarily be a day shift position.
Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
Education
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program with one year of experience in program administration or event production. -OR- Twoyears of postsecondary education with three years of experience in program administration or event production.
Experience.Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program. Prior hospital experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred. Strong skills and prior experience with computer technology and programs including Excel and database management software are required. Experience with the 340B drug pricing program, pharmaceutical procurement and inventory management strongly preferred.
