Today, Adly operates a range of businesses spanning social media growth tools, AI-powered platforms, WiFi marketing technology, ad-driven content sites, and more.

An Email Marketing Manager at Adly is in charge of overseeing and leveraging our email channels to maximize customer acquisition, upsells, and retention. An Email Marketing manager will use data to aggressively test into different types of campaigns, content, subject lines, automations, audiences to maximize growth and minimize churn. He or she should demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to hold the team accountable toward aggressive growth targets, be able to operate self sufficiently, and not be afraid to ask for the resources needed for success.

Responsibilities

  • Use data to identify areas for improvement and new email campaigns to build out
  • Plan, develop, and oversee comprehensive email campaign and email automation strategies to maximize new customer acquisition and retention
  • Plan, develop, and oversee comprehensive audience segmentation strategies to maximize email performance and engagement
  • Closely monitor conversion rates, retention rates, LTV, and new customer growth across the portfolio
  • Plan, develop, and oversee funnel / landing page improvements with our design and engineering team to improve site conversion rates
  • Plan, develop, and oversee product improvements with our design and engineering team to improve customer retention / LTV
  • Help manage designers and work with the product team to maximize open rates, CTR, and conversion rates
  • Present, quantify, and advise on performance, progress, action items, and insights to the leadership team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience and/or excellent skills with email marketing platforms like Customer.io, ActiveCampaign, or others
  • Experience working with developers to implement new user attributes
  • Excellent copywriting and content strategy skills - able to ideate and create captivating subject lines, email campaigns, email automations, etc
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (or similar platform)
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, analysis, pivot tables, modeling)
  • Proficiency in marketing funnels and site A/B testing
  • Effective time management and self sufficiency in a professional setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Integrity and optimism, regardless of the situation
  • Embraces and fosters new ideas, opinions, and ideologies
