Job summary

CSL is seeking an Email Designer, CRM Marketing to lead the visual design, UX, and asset production for all donor communications. You will craft mobile-first email layouts, reusable design systems, and assets within SFMC Content Builder, aligning with brand strategy and driving conversions.

You will collaborate with the Digital Experience team and the Senior Manager, CRM Lifecycle Strategy to ensure seamless, on-brand experiences across the donor journey, while maintaining accessibility and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of professional digital design experience with a focus on responsive B2C email design.
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating email design, modular design systems, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Hands-on proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and asset export optimization.
• Direct experience with SFMC Content Builder to construct content blocks and layout templates.
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS as it relates to email design limitations, mobile.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, mobile-first email layouts, hero images, graphics, and animated assets.
• Build, format, and maintain modular content blocks and templates in SFMC Content Builder.
• Collaborate with Lifecycle Strategy, Creative, and Branding teams for cohesive tone and look.
• Develop concepts for A/B testing to lift donor engagement metrics.
• Perform visual QA testing across dark mode, desktop, and mobile viewports.
• Utilize Jira to manage requests and maintain design files and asset libraries in Figma/Creative Cloud.
• Perform other special projects as necessary.
