FUNCTION: Works independently, with little supervision, either alone or as part of a team, gathering and analyzing information for developing, acquiring, and modifying information systems. Working closely with users, the programmer/analyst designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents application programs within the Ellucian Colleague system.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of six years in analysis and programming within the Ellucian Colleague environment. Must include experience with Ellucian Colleague ERP/Self-Service, Envision Basic, and Colleague Studio. Strongly preferred experience in MS SQL, ETHOS API’s, Data Connect, and SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current knowledge of the Ellucian Colleague application suite, including Core, ST, CF, and HR, with the ability to troubleshoot issues in each module.
• Preferred experience utilizing Ellucian ETHOS, API’s, and Data Connect to create SaaS-safe integrations.
• Preferred experience in SAP BI for reporting or similar tools.
• Ability to design, code, and test customizations within the Colleague modules.
• Ability to write and execute Colleague queries.
• Experience completing program modifications using Colleague Studio.
• Working knowledge of the Colleague Unidata database and data elements to retrieve and understand data in forms, queries, reports, web pages, or other formats.
• Familiarity with higher education to discuss programming requests with college departments.
• Maintain the service request management system with status updates, attachments, and communications for all assigned IT tickets.
• Write specifications containing flowcharts, diagrams, and details for end users and technical personnel.
• Develop and execute test plans.
• Adhere to project deadlines and budgets for assigned tasks.
