Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five (5) years of related work experience, including experience with Ellucian Banner.
• This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Supports departmental operations in a high-production environment by proactively managing the performance, integrity, and security of institutional databases and systems (e.g., SIS).
• Collaborates with the technical lead to advise management on university database and technology matters supporting faculty, staff, and students.
• Assists with setting up, monitoring, and maintaining disaster recovery solutions for enterprise production databases.
• Manages tests and provides support to multiple enterprise-wide database systems and applications.
• Designs, creates, installs, and maintains highly available and secure enterprise database instances, including database architecture, backups, and objects.
