Join us as a Registered Nurse in the CDU at Elliot Hospital. This full-time night shift position offers a $15,000 bonus paid in 3, 6, and 12 months for those with 1+ years of experience.

Details:

• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: Nights 7pm-7am (12-hour shifts, 3x per week)

About the Unit: The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is a 10-bed observation telemetry unit with an average census of 8-10 patients. It specializes in observation for diagnoses such as cardiac, infectious, neuro, and CICU/Med surg overflow. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-5, with an LNA to patient ratio of 1:10.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process to meet a range of needs from basic to complex.
• Create a therapeutic environment and practice according to standards and ethics.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care.
• Demonstrate accountability for professional growth and unit operations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current NH, compact, or multistate RN license.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
