Job summary

BASIS Tucson Primary is seeking an ELL Teacher to join our bright, passionate team in Tucson, AZ. You will deliver English language development integrated with core subjects and support teachers in implementing ESL programming across K-5.

Responsibilities include planning engaging instruction, analyzing ELL progress, and collaborating with school staff to ensure student success. A SEI/BLE endorsement is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ESL/ELL instruction integrated with core subjects.
• Ability to collaborate with K-5 teachers to design engaging lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide ELL instruction integrated with ELA and STEM content.
• Advocate for ESL students and support teachers with best practices.
• Plan with K-5 teachers to design lessons and expeditions.
• Assess ELL student progress using multiple tools and tailor services.
