Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials to ensure understanding of directions.
• Administer tests, homework, and makeup work to support instruction.
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and language development.
• Implement instructional programs and lesson plans under supervision.
• Monitor progress in oral and written English skills.
• Support ELL students in developing communication for academic success.
• Maintain classroom records related to instructional support.
• Attend meetings and district training related to ELL services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
