Qualifications

• Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
• Strong commitment to mission and multilingual learners.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of teachers.
• Excellent organizational skills and scheduling flexibility.
• Spanish language abilities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to scaffold ELLs programs.
• Facilitate direct instruction for ELLs and former ELLs.
• Analyze language questionnaires and language proficiency exams.
• Review assessment data with teachers to track progress.
• Keep families informed of student performance and progress.
• Use Developmental Designs for discipline and community-building.
• Participate in staff meetings, PDs, committees and events.
• Build positive relationships with families and communities.
• Work with an instructional coach to improve teaching practices.
