Title: ELL Instructor - On Call

Position Purpose:

Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events employs a diversepopulation who provide services for a self-operated student diningprogram, campus catering, cash dining operations, vending, summerprograms, one day programs, major campus events, campus space scheduling and non-student short term housing. This position provides in-person English language instruction with the intent of strengthening fluency, improving communication skills, and preparing staff for advancement opportunities.

Job Duties:

• Provides in-person English language instruction twice per weekduring the academic year.
• Designs and implements lesson plans for classes focused onworkplace terminology to improve employees' comprehension andperformance of job-related tasks.
• Provides support and guidance to ELL students.
• Creates a positive learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

• High school diploma required
• College degree in education or related field required
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Previous teaching experience required
• Experience with English language learners required
