Job summary

Adams and Associates seeks an instructor to train ELL students within the Career Education Center. You will develop individual achievement plans and guide academic goals to ensure GED/HSD completion and improved literacy and numeracy.

You will collaborate with staff to infuse applied academics into curricula, supervise students, maintain confidentiality, and strive to meet program performance goals while delivering high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for employment.
• Master's degree preferred to advance instructional qualifications.
• A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver is required.
• Previous experience working with an ELL population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and training to ELL students in GED/HSD preparation.
• Develop individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student progress.
• Mentor and supervise the student population and ensure quality programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information and student data.
• Foster an organized, conducive learning environment and meet performance goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited school

Master's degree preferred

Teaching certificate or waiver (in-state)

Experience with ELL population preferred
