Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited school required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver required.
• Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and prevents manipulation of student data.
• Helps Center meet or exceed performance goals set by DOL/Company.
• Provides students with academic training leading to GED/HSD completion and improves literacy and numeracy.
• Keeps classroom organized and enforces Center dress code and conduct standards.
• Delivers high-quality work and timely assignments with accuracy.
• Maintains attendance, accountability and productivity standards.
• Plans and prioritizes assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Mentors and models Career Success Standards as required.
• Provides supervision and positive influence on student behavior and outcomes.
• Delivers quality programs and services and pursues continuous improvement.
• Communicates ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, with stakeholders.
