Job summary

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) seeks experienced soccer coaches to join our premier staff in the Washington, DC metro area. Candidates should have 3+ years of coaching and a US Soccer D License, with local relocation or residency in the DC/Bethesda area.

Join a dynamic, team‑oriented environment, lead practices and games, participate in development workshops, and enjoy flexible scheduling, gear, and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of soccer coaching experience.
• Minimum US Soccer D License is required; PPA covers 50% of further license costs.
• Local to the Washington, DC/Bethesda, MD area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Lead: Coach 2 practices per week and 1 game per weekend per team (4–6 hours weekly per team).
• Tournaments: Coach 2–6 tournaments annually based on age and skill level.
• Team Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and players.
• Development: Attend 4 annual coaching workshops and use Trace film breakdown for 9v9 and 11v11 teams.
• Uphold PPA Principles: Be prepared, be a teacher, and foster positive development on and off the field.
