Job summary

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier youth sports organization serving the Washington DC metropolitan area. This coaching role requires in-person attendance at programming in Washington, DC and/or Bethesda, MD, with a 2-hour weekly commitment per team (one practice and one game).

Local candidates only are encouraged to apply. The position offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation with raise opportunities, professional growth, and access to coach development resources.

• Coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable experience for our athletes.
• Communicate effectively with other PPA staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents.
• Be a team player and not hesitate to help out where needed throughout the season.

• Lead your team at the end of season PPA tournament.

PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life.
