Job summary

Linear Agency is seeking an elite video editor to join the team and work directly with founders Ciaran Finn and Evan Carroll to craft world-class content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms. Role blends studio-quality editing with native social content across two content streams.

You’ll edit long-form studio shoots and fast, native social edits, maintaining brand identity and delivering high-quality visuals with tight turnarounds. Fully remote role with growth into lead editor.

Qualifications

• Extremely strong English proficiency to collaborate with founders.
• 2+ years of editing experience for creators, personal brands, or YouTube channels.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci.
• Understanding of modern social aesthetics and trends for personal brands.
• Ability to switch quickly between polished production and native content.
• Strong taste in aesthetics, typography, spacing, and visual quality.
• Excellent storytelling through visuals alongside speaker support.
• Comfortable receiving direct feedback from founders.
• Fast turnaround times without compromising quality.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-production aesthetic work.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (studio shoots, lessons, storytelling).
• Edit high-production short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all founder content.
• Create clean animations and motion graphics with brand elements.
• Add subtitles, graphics and branding to elevate content quality.
• Develop scroll-stopping hooks and pacing for short-form content.
• Optimize content for each platform’s algorithm and format.
• Collaborate with founders on concepts, scripts, and direction.
• Maintain fast editing turnaround while upholding quality standards.
• Manage content versions, assets, and project files.
