Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking an experienced Video Editor to craft high-retention content for Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, and other digital formats. You will edit raw footage into polished videos that align with our brand style and deliver on tight deadlines.

This full-time remote contract role requires strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, a compelling portfolio, and the ability to work during U.S. business hours. International applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong skills in Adobe After Effects including motion graphics and kinetic text.
• Professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience editing Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Proven ability to create high-retention content.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Video Editor to produce high-retention content for Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, and other digital platforms.

You'll work from raw footage and source material to create polished, ready-to-publish videos that are well-paced, visually engaging, and consistent with our brand style.

This role is ideal for an editor with a strong creative eye who enjoys a structured, fast-paced workflow and can confidently manage multiple videos in production at once.

Experience creating content for UI/UX, SaaS, websites, apps, or digital interfaces is a strong plus.
