Job summary

Linktree Pty seeks a Social Video Editor (Contract) to rapidly produce social-native videos across Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and more. The role requires owning edits from conception through delivery, transforming UGC into platform-ready assets, and tailoring content for each channel.

You will craft engaging openings, drive retention, and deliver multiple versions to support testing and publishing campaigns while maintaining quality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years editing social or digital video for a brand, agency, publisher, creator, or personal audience.
• Portfolio of platform-native work across Reels, Shorts, YouTube, TikTok, or comparable formats demonstrating storytelling and pacing.
• Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro; CapCut fluency; working knowledge of After Effects or similar motion tools.

Responsibilities

• Edit and post-produce from concept to final delivery.
• Create platform-native cuts for Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and other surfaces.
• Build strong hooks, retention drivers, and optimized openings for social content.
• Shape clear, compelling social narratives across multiple edits and aspect ratios.
• Version multiple edits quickly to support testing and publishing cadence.
• Produce lightweight motion treatments, titles, and graphics to aid comprehension.
• Ensure exports meet brand, platform, accessibility, and technical standards.
• Manage feedback, assets, and final exports in a high‑volume pipeline.
• Collaborate with channel managers to test variants and apply learnings.
