Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) Engineer to support government accounts and maintain the Veritas eDiscovery platform across Windows servers. This executive-level role involves configuration, monitoring, and proactive incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience with Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) in a production environment.
• Strong Windows Server administration and server health monitoring.
• Ability to respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings to review program objectives and provide support.
• Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the eDP environment using official documentation.
• Record configuration changes via change control processes.
• Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks; monitor components for failures.
• Coordinate vendor and site support for outages and escalations.
• Respond to monitoring alerts with prompt corrective actions and escalations.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure data integrity and backups.
• Manage systems in remote environments and ensure SLAs are met.
• Automate routine maintenance using PowerShell and VBScript where applicable.
• Review logs and ensure scheduled jobs and backups run successfully.
• Apply OS patches and upgrade admin tools; configure new services as needed.
• Assist in migrating system implementations to cloud infrastructures.
• Propose automated approaches for routine sysadmin tasks.
