Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian for a PM shift in our Sacramento area vaults. Work with a small team to maintain inventory in cash vaults and support Loomis customers with precise handling and secure procedures.

The role involves physical duties such as lifting, sorting, and moving bags, plus daily coordination with coworkers by phone. A firearms license or state compliance is required, and the position is full-time in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move heavy bags several times per shift.
• Ability to stand for 80% of shift and walk between areas.
• Must meet firearm license requirements per state.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign/date receipts.
• Load/unload bags of currency, coins, and deposits onto wagons or carts.
• Sort cargo items by route and coordinate with team.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone when needed.
