Job summary

Loomis- is seeking a Vault Custodian to work with a team to maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role involves counting, recording, and signing receipts, plus loading and unloading currency and coin using carts and wagons.

The position requires heavy lifting, standing on concrete floors, and the ability to pass firearms requirements as applicable in the state of employment. Full-time schedule typically 40–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy bags and boxes repeatedly during a long shift.
• Ability to read and sign receipts and manifests.
• Must maintain accurate counts and records of cash and cargo.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of currency and coin.
• Sort cargo by route and communicate with coworkers and customers.
