Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years as Rigger.
• Familiarity with NAVFAC P-307 requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US Citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble rigging gear to lift and move equipment or material safely.
• Direct crane operators via hand signals or radio to hoist loads.
• Set up and rig hoisting equipment and assist in moving loads on ships or docks.
• Inspect rigging gear and ensure compliance with NAVFAC P-307 standards.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Maintain safety and quality responsibilities per company policy.
