Job summary

Reef Systems in Hampton, VA is seeking a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) to support the Human Performance Optimization mission at Langley‑Eustis AFB. The role focuses on integrating performance protocols to maximize duty readiness for operators and aircrew.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a relevant master’s degree, CSCS/CSCCa, SCCC, and CPR/AED. The contractor will work a 40-hour week with possible after-hours tasks and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time experience in strength and conditioning at high-performance settings.
• Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• CSCS or CSCCa certification required.
• SCCC certification and CPR/AED training are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all unit/government in-processing requirements and required trainings.
• Coordinate individualized exercise programs to ensure safe return to training after injury.
• Design and implement physical training programs for functional movement and strength.
• Monitor deployment schedules and adapt training for TDY personnel.
• Perform routine performance testing and Occupational Fitness Assessments.
• Provide instruction on physical conditioning and injury prevention.
• Maintain fitness reports and collaborate with medical staff.
• Advise on facility layout and equipment usage.
