Job summary

Digi Security Systems in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Field Engineer (Elite Resource Technician) to diagnose complex security system issues and engineer solutions beyond standard playbooks.

The role requires expert-level background in access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems with at least seven years in commercial security; travel to the Dallas area is regular, and compensation is experience-based.

Qualifications

• Expert-level background in Access Control, CCTV, and Burglar/Intrusion Alarm systems.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in commercial security systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly to the Dallas, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting complex, interdisciplinary issues and root-cause analysis.
• Provide professional service for access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Advanced programming to meet partner needs and cross-system integration.
• High-level networking and API/SDK-based system integration.
• Identify and resolve project issues, acting as a technical consultant.
• Quality control through audits, documentation, and training materials.
• Lead on-the-job training and SOP development on-site.
• Communicate progress clearly with partners and internal teams.
• Complete close-out documentation and as-built drawings.
