The ideal candidate has 3+ years in law enforcement or armed security, a Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license. The position is full-time with a consistent weekend schedule and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols in retail areas, receiving and storage, parking lots and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation; maintain professional communication with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and storage areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
