Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver in Plano, TX. You will conduct armed patrols, provide customer service, and deter security incidents at a retail location.

Requirements include 3+ years combined law enforcement/military or 5+ years armed security, a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a high school diploma. Driver’s license and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law.

As a Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

• Wed: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 03:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving locations, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and vendor activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while complying with applicable laws, company policies, and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
