Job summary

Ready Mixed Concrete Co., a CRH company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from plant to job sites in a safe, professional manner. The driver may perform basic truck maintenance and must comply with DOT regulations.

High school diploma or GED is required; CDL is mandatory; prior ready-mix experience is preferred. Responsibilities include delivering loads, inspecting equipment, reading maps, and maintaining accurate timekeeping and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience in ready-mixed trucks or related industry preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and maps.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Department of Transportation requirements including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
• Operate truck safely to deliver concrete to job sites.
• Inspect truck and complete pre-shift check-off.
• Maneuver truck and back under batching plants to receive loads.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
• Follow instructions and paperwork and use GPS maps.
