Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport concrete to various sites across Texas. The role involves operating ready mix trucks, performing inspections, and ensuring safety compliance under supervisor guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL A or B, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with mixer trucks. DOT physicals, drug screening, and background checks are required. Domestic travel and night/weekend shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid CDL A or B license and ability to operate a Ready Mix Truck.
• High school diploma or GED required; prior mixer experience preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with required documentation.
• Load/unload materials and monitor gauges during operation.
• Maintain vehicle logs and fuel usage records.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Obey dispatch instructions and traffic laws; ensure product quality.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report major issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean and serviceable at all times.
• Maintain predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Assist teammates and supervisors as needed.
