Job summary

Ready-Mixed Concrete Co., a CRH Company, seeks a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from plant to job sites, following safety and DOT requirements. You will inspect and operate the mixer truck, back under batching equipment, and maintain the vehicle.

Qualifications include a Class A or B CDL, valid Medical Card per DOT, high school diploma or GED, and willingness to work nights/weekends. Competitive pay and benefits are offered by Ready Mixed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in ready mixed trucks or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all DOT requirements including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
• Operate truck safely to deliver concrete to job sites and yards.
• Inspect the truck and complete Driver Check-off Sheet at start of shift.
• Back truck under batching plant or hopper to receive concrete.
• Climb mixer truck ladder to inspect load and drum cleanliness.
• Adjust trailer axle pressure based on load weight.
• Follow instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain and clean truck after loads and prevent concrete buildup.
