Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport concrete to projects and facilities. The role requires safe, efficient operation of ready mix trucks, with deliveries to industrial and residential sites.

You will follow supervisor instructions and work with a team to meet project timelines and quality standards. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years mixer truck experience, and a valid CDL A/B.

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of 2 years experience driving mixer truck preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
Must possess valid DOT medical card.
Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with DOT documentation.
Load and unload equipment of materials.
Monitor gauges during operation of vehicle.
Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Obey dispatch instructions and maintain safe driving practices.
Ensure product quality and operate equipment safely.
