Job summary

Starboard-Staffing seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper for a private Manhattan residence. This full-time, long-term role requires discretion, reliability, and a polished, service-oriented approach, with a 9am–5pm schedule, 40 hours weekly, and weekends/major holidays off.

The role oversees roughly 10,000 square feet across four levels, reporting to a staffed household. 5+ years of high-level private residence experience or luxury hotel background preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in high-level private residences preferred; hotel experience considered.
• Polished, discreet, and professional with sound judgment and confidentiality.
• Collaborative team player who supports teammates as needs shift.
• Comfortable using basic technology and team communication platforms such as Slack.

Responsibilities

• Perform executive-level housekeeping, detailed cleaning, deep cleaning, and daily upkeep to maintain the residence in impeccable condition.
• Maintain approximately 10,000 square feet across four levels according to standards and presentation expectations.
• Handle family laundry, ironing, linen care, and wardrobe upkeep; coordinate out-of-house care as needed.
• Maintain household organization, closets, storage, and supplies; support efficient day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with the broader household staff to ensure seamless daily operations and post-event resetting as needed.
