Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Premier Private Banker Team Leader to oversee a Private Banking sales team. You will drive revenue growth for high-net-worth clients, guide bankers, and coordinate cross-team collaboration to deliver advisory services and complex banking solutions.

Responsibilities include staff development, prospecting new relationships, and providing credit support for business development while ensuring compliance and risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7-10 years banking experience; a minimum of 5 years related experience (Corporate, Mortgage, or Private Banking).
• Licensing: FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66 licenses not required unless participating in securities and brokerage activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; strategic leadership; collaboration; organization; sales execution; regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop the ongoing sales activities of a team of Private Bankers to achieve revenue growth and goal attainment.
• Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue growth goals.
• Collaborate with market leaders and COIs to generate sales leads and growth.
• Manage full-service banking relationships with high-net-worth clients and oversee complex accounts.
• Consult with prospects and clients on financial needs; recommend products; prepare loan packages for credit review and underwriting.
• Provide staff coaching, performance management, and training; manage staffing levels and development.
• Represent the Bank and its products; provide leadership in community activities.
• Assist with risk management and compliance by reviewing reports with Credit and Operations partners.
