Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Premier Private Banker Team Leader to own the Private Banking sales team responsible for high-net-worth relationships in the Atlanta region. You will guide a team of Private Bankers, drive revenue growth in loans and deposits, and ensure a consultative approach to advisory services.

You will coach staff, manage risk, collaborate with other lines of business, and provide credit assistance to support business development. Travel may be required within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years banking experience; a minimum of 5 years related experience (Corporate, Mortgage, or Private Banking).
• FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66 licenses not required unless participating in securities and brokerage activities.
• Excellent written/oral communications skills; Strategic thinker, with leadership ability and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Guides and develops the ongoing sales activities of a team of Private Bankers to achieve revenue growth and sales goals.
• Develops sales strategies to achieve revenue growth goals.
• Collaborates with market leaders and COIs to develop sales leads.
• Manages full-service banking relationships with high-net-worth customers and oversees complex accounts.
• Consults with prospects and clients regarding financial needs; prepares loan packages; cross-sells services.
• Analyzes financial, tax and credit needs and recommends strategies using company products.
• Determines staffing requirements; coaches staff and conducts annual performance reviews.
• Represents the Bank and participates in community activities; ensures compliance and risk management.
