Job summary

Meridian Bank is seeking a Private Banking Relationship Manager to develop and manage private banking relationships across the Meridian footprint, driving deposit and loan growth, portfolio management, and high-touch client service. You will refer to Meridian Wealth Partners and other Bank partners to provide comprehensive solutions.

The role requires strong relationship-management and lending experience, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and the ability to coordinate solutions across business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in private banking, commercial banking, or similar financial-services environment; depth varies by level
• Credit training or demonstrated consumer/commercial credit experience
• Proven ability to develop relationships and generate deposits, loans, and referrals
• Ability to coordinate client solutions across business lines and with partners
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to learn banking systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Travel within the assigned market; valid driver's license when driving is required
• Develop and execute relationship plans to achieve deposit, loan, fee, and referral goals
• Build a sustainable prospect and referral network through outreach and community activities
• Maintain knowledge of Bank products and engage partners to meet client needs
• Manage an assigned portfolio, deepen relationships, monitor risk indicators, provide high-touch service
• Assess client objectives and recommend deposit, credit, treasury-management, wealth, and other solutions
• Coordinate timely resolution of client service issues and escalate when needed
• Represent the Bank at community and professional events to support market strategy
• Demonstrate Meridian Bank’s Core Values in client and colleague interactions
• Comply with laws, regulations, and Bank policies; escalate potential concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned
