Job summary

The Bay Club Company is hiring a Professional Fitness Trainer to evaluate client status and deliver personalized, safe exercise programs. You will provide excellent customer service and help members achieve fitness goals while upholding club policies and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications include certification in ACSM/NSCA or equivalent, a 4-year degree in Exercise Science, CPR/First Aid, and 1–2 years of health club experience preferred.

• ACSM-HFS or NSCA-CSCS (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meet minimum private sessions per month and maintain client retention.
• Provide new member fitness consultations and evaluations.
• Develop individualized exercise programs based on client abilities, health, and goals.
• Be on time for all scheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of client programs and progress.
• Track client sessions and fees.
• Enforce club policies.
• Assist in development and marketing of private and group PFT programs.
• Maintain fitness center cleanliness.
• Record daily work and client sessions in tracking system.
• Participate in meetings and trainings.
• Maintain at least one 20/20 Lifestyles client (if applicable).
• Maintain CPR/AED certifications.
