Qualifications

• Experience in DSP, CNA, HHA, behavioral health or similar high-support role.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and report changes.
• Must have reliable vehicle and be able to meet physical requirements.
• Ability to complete required training and competency requirements before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide close one-to-one supervision and safety monitoring.
• Support a 33-year-old nonverbal individual with spina bifida who enjoys music, shopping, going out for lunch, and socializing.
• Follow individualized behavioral, medical, health, and safety protocols within DSP scope and training.
• Support communication, routines, community participation, and independence.
• Use approved support strategies consistently and calmly.
• Recognize and promptly report changes in health, behavior, functioning, or safety.
• Respond appropriately to urgent concerns and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and dependable communication with the care team.
