Brevard County Ocean Lifeguards are needed to guard beach patrons and ensure public safety along beach areas. This is a temporary, part-time role with a weekend/holiday schedule and varied shifts.

You will perform experienced protective duties and provide information about beach conditions to visitors. The position requires 480 hours of hands-on lifeguard experience, annual compliance with the USLA Advanced Guidelines test, and current BLS/CPR and Emergency Medical Responder certifications.

Qualifikationen

• 480 hours of documented hands-on ocean lifeguard experience.
• Must complete the Brevard County Ocean Lifeguard Performance Test annually (USLA Advanced Guidelines).
• Must hold/obtain BLS/CPR certification and maintain active status.
• Must hold/obtain Emergency Medical Responder certification and maintain active status.
• In emergencies (hurricanes, storms, disasters) perform duties as directed.
