Qualifications

• High school education plus one year experience in military or civilian security or law enforcement.
• Background check will be required.
• Must maintain a secret security clearance.
• Must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
• Mental Health Assessment clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs base entry and commercial vehicle inspection duties.
• Controls entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and equipment on/off the base.
• Maintains posts including flight line protection and roving patrols.
• Conducts searches of persons and property; performs criminal history and records checks.
• Issues base entry passes for visitors and contractors.
• Participates in ground defense and disaster functions.
• Maintains government equipment and facilities; handles small arms maintenance and cleaning.
