Job summary

Set of X is seeking seasoned systems engineers to join a high-visibility effort that consolidates diverse systems into a cohesive, secure, and user-friendly platform. You will help lay the foundation in early stages and work with owners and admins to drive architecture decisions.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with poly, strong Linux administration, and experience with NiFi, VMware, and automation tooling to build scalable, long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years SA experience may substitute.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• 5+ years of system administration experience.
• Must have strong Linux administration, security, and virtualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with current owners and admins to understand existing systems, requirements, and problem areas.
• Provide input for organization long-term efforts and visions for future architecture and design.
• Provide system administration functions to fix critical problems or implement stop-gap solutions during transition.
• Translate existing requirements into scalable, long-term solutions.
• Implement and support final solution(s).
• Participate in frequent internal engineering and strategy team meetings.
• Build direct customer relationships to improve feedback loop.
