Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an Advanced Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees near power lines, using climbing gear and ground tools. You will manage debris, perform rigging, and ensure tree health while maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, working aloft, and supervising non-qualified staff. Must meet OSHA standards and CPR/First-Aid requirements; 401(k) and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience on tree trimming or clearing crews; or completed skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; CPR/First-Aid certification beneficial.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove and/or fell trees using climbing and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower them safely with rigging lines.
• Work near energized conductors while supervising non-qualified staff.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations during all tasks.
