Qualifications

• Minimum age 15 or older.
• Current YMCA Lifeguard Certification or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Maintain certification readiness and respond to emergencies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active surveillance of pool and surrounding areas.
• Respond immediately to emergencies and administer first aid.
• Enforce safety rules with courteous, firm explanations.
• Record readings, incidents and complete required forms.
• Assist with cleaning and equipment checks as needed.
