Job summary

Life Time in Gainesville, VA is hiring an Aquatics Lifeguard to oversee both indoor and outdoor pools, monitor the deck and assist with water parks and events. The role emphasizes safety, vigilant supervision, and friendly guest interactions.

The ideal candidate is safety minded, has Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications, and can communicate effectively with Members while maintaining pool area standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED in progress or equivalent
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to communicate with Members and provide safety guidance

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety of Members
